All you have to do is complete the assessment form and meet / speak to the Debt Counsellor. Submit the completed form together with all your account statements, ID, and salary pay slip or letter of income.

Once the assessment is completed, and we conclude you are over-indebted, we will submit Form 17.1 (Notification to all credit providers) to all of your credit providers.

After receiving certificate of balances from your credit providers, we will then submit a reduced installment offer to them. This is done by recalculating your debt obligations.

Thereafter, an application will be made to the Magistrate’s Court for a Debt-rearrangement order. This will be sent to your creditors once granted.

Payment will commence through an accredited payment distribution agency. Once all your debts have been paid, you will be issued a clearance certificate.
